OJ a4efa77878 Support driver list, adjust capcom exploit
This commit adds MSF-side support for listing currently loaded drivers
on the machine that Meterpreter is running on. It doesn't add a UI-level
command at this point, as I didn't see the need for it. It is, however,
possible to enumerate drivers on the target using the client API.

Also, the capcom exploit is updated so that it no longer checks for the
existence of the capcom.sys file in a fixed location on disk. Instead,
it enumerates the currently loaded drivers using the new driver listing
function, and if found it checks to make sure the MD5 of the target file
is the same as the one that is expected. The has is used instead of file
version information because the capcom driver doesn't have any version
information in it.

Brent Cook c250740a81 Fixup finalizers to not double-close Meterpreter objects
We add finalizers to an assortment of Meterpreter-managed objects in order to
clean things up in the event that a post module crashes and does not clean
things up. However, this also means that even a properly-written post module
can lead to an object getting double-closed on the Meterpreter session when the
garbage collector kicks in. This can lead to quite non-deterministic behavior
and crashes.

This change modifies the instance close methods to unregister the finalizer on
close, ensuring we cannot do a double-close automatically if one is requested
explicitly first. As an additional measure, we check an instance variable to
see if we called close directly twice as well. This is not sufficient in
itself, since we do not have a reference to 'self' in the finalizer proc to
check the close state.

This also removes a couple of references to 'self' in the finalizer proc
itself, which may cure some memory leaks as well due to circular references.

Brent Cook 503f58375b add direct registry access methods
Rather than operating on a passed-in HKEY, these open and close the registry
key directly for each operation.

This pattern better reflects the actual API usage within msf, and removes extra
round-trips to open and close the registry key, reducing traffic and increasing
performance. I did not add direct versions of every registry operation.
There was no benefit for more rarely-used operations, other than requiring more
churn in the meterpreters.

The primary beneficiary of this is post exploitation modules that do registry
or service enumeration. See #3693 for test cases.

OJ 08e707225c Add support for the getsid command
There has been Meterpreter work done as well to support this. But this
commit allows for a new 'getsid' command which tells you the sid of the
current process/thread. This can be used for things like determining
whether the current process is running as system. It could also be used
for golden ticket creation, among other things.

OJ beca4b8bc3 Fix issue with getenv failing
The call to `getenv` failed when `%` or `$` were used because of the
differences between Meterpreter handling and MSF handling.

Meterpreter effectively ignores (ie. strips out) the platform-specific
characters which are used for environment variables. In the `getenv`
call, MSF was invoking `getenvs` and getting a full hash of values, then
attempting to index into the hash using a string which may be "polluted"
with those platform-specific characters. This meant that there was a
discrepency between what was returned and what was used to index and
as a result, the value would come out as `nil`.

For example, calling `getenv('%FOO%')` would result in a hash with
`{'FOO'=>'bar'}`, so looking for '%FOO%' in this result would yield
nothing.

This commit changes this so that the name is ignored and the first
value is returned.

OJ ef281bf31d Adjust the getenv API
The getenv call in sys/config was renamed to getenvs and now uses
the splat operator so that arrays don't have to be passed in. A
new function called getenv was added which takes a single argument
and returns a single value back (for ease of use).
2014-01-03 08:05:45 +10:00
OJ 1a65566005 Add the getenv command which pulls env vars from the victim
This command will allow the attacker to grab environment variables from the
target, if they exist. Calling this function allows for one or more values
to be passed in, which should match the name of the variable required. If
the variable is found, it is returned. If it is not found, the variable
is not returned (ie. it's not present in the resulting hash).

Note 1: POSIX environment vars are case-senstive, whereas Windows is not.
Note 2: POSIX doesn't seem to cough up user environment vars, it only returns
system vars. I'm not sure why this is, but it could be because of the way
we do linking on POSIX.

Tod Beardsley 4bcbdc54c9 Cutting over rails3 to master.
This switches the Metasploit Framework to a Rails 3 backend. If you run
into new problems (especially around Active Record or your postgresql
gem) you should try first updating your Ruby installation to 1.9.3 and
use a more recent 'pg' gem.

If that fails, we'd love to see your bug report (just drop all the
detail you can into an issue on GitHub). In the meantime, you can
checkout the rails2 branch, which was branched from master immediately
before this cutover.

udp_sweep to use pcAnywhere_stat instead of merely pcAnywhere, so the
intent is clear there as well.
